Shawn C.H. Baron has not received any gifts yet
This is George Henderson, owner of "Faith," Hull #69 located in the Boston area. Just letting the community know that she is on the market since I now live in CO. She is priced to sell and comes with an as-new inflatable dingy, outboard, second set of sails and loads of gear.
Makes me sad but I'd like to see her legacy continue. If you know of a potential buyer I can be reached at georgehenderson.usa@gmail.com / 857-221-1581. She is in great condition and has been lovingly restored. There are pics on my members' page and a link to a Google Drive folder is below, where you will find pics and a survey.

What hull No. is WU WEI? Do you have any more information on your boat. Would like to put in the 2014 roster, but can't find your boat in old rosters. MUF

Shawn,
Welcome to Bob's site; hope you will come here often. I personally find it a great joy. I looked Glen Rock up on Google Earth and plotted a route to down my way (a stone's throw if you throw hard enough) for where Newporters were built on the east coast and found it's only about three hours. A couple of routes will take you to Havre De Grace, MD (less than 50 mile, less than 1.5 hours) or Sue Island, Essex, MD (around 50 miles, one hour). Both are yachting areas on the Chesapeake (Sue Island seems to be the Baltimore Yacht Club--out of my range.) Good areas to keep a Newporter. Better areas further away.
Like to hear of your boating experiences and knowledge of Newporters. If Newporters are your thing, this should be your site. There is a lot of help here for Newporter issues, even if it is only ideas for how to do stuff, any stuff. You will enjoy your visits.
Welcome,
Clyde

THE ROSTER
Muf, our Keeper of the Roster, has updated it. But he still needs information on boats out there that he doesn't have, like new owners, old owners, where any of the boats are. We don't post the roster on the web site, it is only sent to owners. Please send him anything you might have, or call him at:

Captain Clyde's Newporter sites:
and
The Ning site has been given a reprieve. I have transferred my Ning site to the blogspot site and will leave it there. I am keeping my Ning site open as a home for my photos and drawings.
Many of my photos there do not relate to Newporters, but a search through my collection may prove useful for your studies.
My drawings are not accurate in many respects as a result of the PAINT program used to draw them, There is no accurate scale and at best they are only useful to indicate some specific detail. Some are inaccurate because of my poor memory. Use them to help you think, not as a detailed presentation of the subject matter.
If any of you want to start a web site I suggest you remember what has happened to both my Ning site and this site (which is a Ning site) and remember that my Blogspot site is free and Blogspot's owner (Google) has promised to keep it that way.
Clyde's email:
Put 'Newporter' on Subject Line. Email is the best way to contact me. I do not regularly look at this site or its messaging system. Email will get to me post-haste.
