COMMUNICATION (SENDING AND RECEIVING MESSAGES, EMAIL ELIMINATION, CHATTING)

this may be obvious to everyone, but maybe not, i am just figuring it out, correct me if i am wrong.

1) if you don't want all this on your email go over to your name on right and click SETTINGS, then click on EMAIL on left side, and then choose what you want. At bottom is a DON'T SEND TO EMAIL.
2) if you want to send a private message to an individual, click on their MEMBERS face and SEND MESSAGE is to left.
3)under your name to the right is the INBOX where you pick up your messages.
4) We now have CHAT enabled, at bar on bottom of your screen. CLICK ON BAR TO PARTICIPATE, and you can also have PRIVATE chat with other members online by clicking on their name in the chat box, and then waiting for them to answer. Maybe they will, maybe they won't. To enter message click in narrow box at bottom of chat box. When you want the chat box to go away click on the "Newporter 40 Together (2 members on line)" at the top of the CHAT BOX.

i do not find a bar on the bottom of my screen to participate in chatting.

at least not on this page where i am reading the blog entry about communicating
