I'm always glad to accept friendship from most people, but especially from those who know Newporters. I have found on this site that being a "Friend" doesn't mean much in that we are all friendly people. But thanks for the request which is, of course, approved.
If the mind of this ancient mariner has it right your Red Witch is now someone else's Grace and you are looking for another Newporter for the new Red Witch. I love that name, which by my memory comes from the novel and movie a couple of years later (late 40's as I remember) by the name of The Wake of the Red Witch. Never read it, never saw it, but I remember my Dad reading it and I remember the Red Witch on the dust jacket. I don't have any judgment against any who don't like the name because I don't like some names I've seen that at least the owners loved. So be it.
